I found the info from the last game. Here are the final scores for the 206-2007 season.
Do you remember what happened?
Jeff H. won; Chris L. came in second; Josh A. came in third. Mark B. got table talked into a bad beat. Sean C. and Jennifer O. were in town. Gretchen H. provided sass. Jeff H. either was pushed or fell out of his chair at some point. Tasty tacos were served and consumed with much glee.
For those of you who keep careful track of my comings and goings, you’ll recall that four hours after the last poker game, I was headed out for a weeklong family trip to the Pacific Northwest. It had been my every intention to post the final results while holed up in the hotel but alas, too much fun was being had.
So, with tonight’s rains keeping me from marathon training, I instead planned on posting final results, analysis, etc. Only problem is that I can’t find the chart, so I don’t know how much everyone won. I’m pretty sure I took home $59, which would mean Jeff took $118 and Josh took $12. If anyone can confirm these amounts, I’d very much appreciate it.
What we can say with confidence, however, is that Jeff H. kicked our asses this season. Even without this latest win, he was far and away the biggest money winner for 2006-2007. Excellent strategy and a never-say-die attitude, combined with a pleasant and unassuming demeanor made him a money winner in most – if not all - of our games.
So, hats off to Jeff H. for his win in the final game and his overall domination of the Ranckle Poker League. Now let’s turn our attention to the new season and get a game on as soon as possible.
